Twenty-five years ago today, I was only a few weeks into my sophomore year of college. Like millions of others, I woke up expecting an ordinary day. What happened that morning changed the course of countless lives, including my own.

A quarter century later, the memories remain vivid. The world changed that day, and so did many of us who lived through it. Some lessons were immediate; others took years, even decades, to fully understand.

Looking back, I realize that those college years were not only about classes, grades, and degrees. They were also years of growth, uncertainty, difficult decisions, and experiences that helped shape the person I would become.

Twenty-five years later, I do not wish to relive that day, but I will never forget it. The impact of September 11 can still be seen in our lives, our communities, and the world around us. Its memory remains a reminder of how quickly life can change, and how important it is to move forward with resilience, gratitude, and purpose.
